Beyonce and Solange Pose Together on Instagram Following Elevator Incident with Jay Z

Beyonce and Solange are looking to put the Met Gala elevator incident behind them.

Jay Z, Solange, Beyonce Issue Statement on Elevator Footage: 'We've Put This Behind Us'

On May 17, Beyonce posted an Instagram photo of her and Solange posing together in New Orleans. The photo was specifically dated, seemingly in an effort to let the world know that the sisters are getting along just fine following a leaked video of Solange attacking Jay Z in an elevator at the Standard Hotel in New York City.

Last week, Beyonce, Jay Z and Solange released a joint statement saying they have worked through the problem.

"As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5th, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident. But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it," an exclusive statement to The Associated Press read Thursday. "Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family."

In perhaps a further attempt to move on from the Met Gala incident, Jay Z and Beyonce released a new action-packed promotional trailer for their upcoming joint summer headlining tour of North American stadiums. Watch the mini-movie, featuring Sean Penn and Jake Gyllenhaal, below.
