Guess who they gave a podcast to? This emo girl! Today (Thursday, May 1) marks the launch of The Juice's weekly R&B/hip-hop audio show hosted by myself, Billboard Senior Editor, Erika Ramirez.

The 20-30-minute podcast to be featured on The Juice every Friday – with the exception of the first episode –  will feature special guests, trending topic discussions, song premieres, and artist interviews.

On the first episode, Billboard Senior Correspondent Andrew Hampp joins me to talk about his recent interview with the Elusive Chanteuse, Mariah Carey; Rita Ora's Tuesday performance at NYC's The Box; Usher's upcoming single, "Good Kisser" (with that title what more can we say, huh?); and Drake and Jay Z's playful jabs.

But not before I share a snippet of my interview with Jennifer Lopez, on which she talks about her second single, "First Love." JLO premiered six songs from her upcoming eighth studio album in Malibu this past Friday (April 25). Check out the full interview with JLO tomorrow, Friday (May 2).

Take a listen and let me know what you think over on Twitter (@3rika). And, a special shout out to multi-media artist Melo-X, who kindly produced the podcast's music!
