After reuniting in 2013 for a Coachella set and multiple tour dates internationally, Jurassic 5 is hitting the United States for its first American tour in nearly a decade.
According to Consequence of Sound, the alt-hip-hop act will convene for a 20-date set across North America, in addition to multiple shows in Europe. The tour, which will stretch through much of July and the first few days of August, will kick off July 7 in Reno, Nev. and will conclude Aug. 3 in Boston, Mass.
The Los Angeles-based group, formed in 1993, released four LPs of material, with 2006's "Feedback" slotting in at No. 6 on the Rap Albums chart. However, Jurassic 5 disbanded in 2007, citing musical differences.
A year ago, the group told Billboard that new music could come sometime down the pipeline, though it was mostly focused on touring for the time being.
Dilated Peoples will open the shows in the U.S.
