Prince served up some big numbers at his “Breakfast Experience Pajama Dance Party” over the weekend, including a rebooted, funked-out version of his 1984 hit “Let’s Go Crazy.”
The legendary artist opened his Minneapolis-area home, Paisley Park, for an early-hours concert Saturday with a casual theme – all guests were asked to wear pajamas.
Doors opened at 2 a.m, visitors were asked to make a $50 donation, and the landlord tore through some numbers with his all-girl group 3rdEyeGirl.
Dr Funkenberry reports that pancakes were sold at $1.00 each, and that Prince delivered two sets which included "Purple Rain," "I Would Die 4 U" and "Alphabet St" and his new video for "Breakfast Can Wait" was given an airing.
In the spirit of his newfound acceptance of social media, the Purple One has shared some of the footage from his event. Though with each of the clips maxing-out at about 90 seconds, the posted videos are a morsel rather than a feast.
