Rihanna’s current tour of Australia is making noises for the wrong reasons. On just the second date of her trek, the Barbadian singer showed-up more than an hour late on stage. And she got booed for her tardiness.
According to the Adelaide Advertiser, the performer was due on stage at 9pm last Thursday, but didn’t show for another 80 minutes.
The audience warmed-up when she finally appeared. “I’m finally here," she said. "It takes me forever to get back to Australia every time.” But there was no explanation or apology.

Rihanna had arrived from Perth, where she started her Australian trek by arriving 40 minutes late for her Tuesday concert. The critics weren’t kind. The Sydney Morning Herald reported, “crotch-grabbing, apparent slurring and disinterest in singing marked the Perth leg of Rihanna's Australian tour.”
The artist's “Diamonds” world tour has already hit a handful of roadbumps. Rihanna canceled a gig in Boston, just the second city on the tour. And a follow-up performance was also canned in Baltimore. On both occasions, the singer missed due to illness – or more specifically, laryngitis. Live Nation were then forced to reschedule dates in Dallas and Houston.
