With his proper Warner Bros. debut, "The Stoned Immaculate," due out in late May and a U.S. tour kicking off in April, New Orleans rapper Curren$y stopped by the studios in New York to chat about the studio album and how it will differ from his steady stream of mixtapes.

"Everything up until now -- no matter what I think, because I feel like I work the same way, regardless of what I'm working on -- but this project is being regarded as my first real album," Curren$y told The Juice, adding that he worked with producers like Pharrell Williams and Daz Dillinger on "Immaculate." The album, which follows mixtapes like "Weekend at Burnie's" and his recent "Muscle Car Chronicles" release with producer Alchemist, will also feature a guest appearance and production from Big K.R.I.T.

Currensy Unexpectedly Returns With 'Muscle Car Chronicles'

Curren$y is slated to open a tour in Houston on April 19, and the rapper will be in his hometown of New Orleans for the following night's show. However, Curren$y says that he doesn't have too much planned for 4/20, aside from, of course, preaching sobriety. "Weed is whack. Keep spreading the message," the oft-inebriated MC says with a smile.

Check back with The Juice later this week for more on Curren$y's sit-down, including a breakdown of his favorite sneakers...
