Azealia Banks Delays '1991' EP

Rapper/singer Azealia Banks performs onstage during day 2 of the 2012 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in Indio, California.

After awing Coachella with a 20-minute set on Saturday (April 14), including a cover of Amy Winehouse's "Valerie," Azealia Banks tells the Twitterverse that her "1991" EP will be delayed. Banks had planned to release the EP today (April 17), according to Pitchfork.

"For all you asking "1991" is getting delayed.. AGAIN. :( #newartistproblems," Azealia Banks tweeted yesterday (April 16). " I just switched management.. Literally like three days ago, and have a whole new set of resources to take advantage of. We're gonna vamp this up and make it official.. No more ghetto mixes and closet recording.. I have a budget now! #brokewithexpensivetaste."

To hold fans over, Azealia Banks released a " fan-made mixtape" and Diplo-produced track, "Fuck Up the Fun." If you're compelled to rap along with the female rhymer, as I was, check out the lyrics over at her site.
