Coachella Expansion Aims to 'Create More Room' for Fans, Says Fest Founder

Fresh off the European leg of his and Jay-Z's "Watch the Throne" tour, Kanye West will perform solo for the first time in the U.S. since Coachella in 2011. 'Ye is bringing his show to Atlantic City's Revel Resort and Casino on July 6 and 7.

Today (Monday, June 18), Revel announced that West will perform two exclusive shows at its Ovation Hall in time for the opening of its 40,000-square-foot HQ Nightclub. Tickets for the shows go on sale Friday, June 22, at 10 a.m. EST at Ticketmaster.

West's Revel show follows Beyoncé's own, who graced the 5,500 seat amphitheater for it's premiere with four performances over Memorial Day weekend.

"Mercy" peaked at No. 3 on the R&B/Hip Hop Songs chart and is No. 21 on Hot 100. As for his other single, "Cold," featuring DJ Khaled, it slid down the R&B/Hip Hop Songs chart from No. 69 to No.88.
