Trae Tha Truth is 'Ok' Post Houston Club Shooting
Trae Tha Truth suffered a minor gunshot wound after being shot early this morning (Wednesday, June 20) in Houston, TX.
According to Houston's Fox 26, the incident occurred at Scores Cabaret in southwest Houston, leaving two people injured and three dead. The deceased were reported to have been two males and one female but their identities are being withheld by the police at this time.
Witnesses told Houston's KTRK more than 20 gunshots were shot into the crowd as patrons were exiting the club around 3 AM. No one was able to spot the gunman but are sure there was more than one because of the amount of gunshots heard.
"I didn't see any shooters. It was more than one because there were too many gunshots," said witness Rick Cook.
An affiliate and photographer of Trae's, with the twitter handle, @LowLifeDynasty, sent out a tweet earlier this morning assuring all that the southern rapper is doing well.
"Everybody TRAE is ok", he tweeted, along with a picture of Trae in a hospital nightgown, sitting upright in bed, holding up the "W" sign.
Trae tha Truth recently signed to T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint. He is currently prepping the release of his seventh studio album, "Street Life," in a series of v-logs of the same name.
