Rick Ross appreciates the finer things in life: the swankiest cars, the most gorgeous women, and of course, the most delectable cutlets of meat. The Miami rap kingpin takes a bite out of the rarest form of rap beef in the "So Sophisticated" music video, which hit the web on Sunday (June 24).
The "So Sophisticated" clip features the standard hip-hop video tropes, as Ross and his pal Meek Mill rhyme in and around cars in a deserted warehouse, take their shirts off, and narrowly avoid open flames. But the highlight of the video is a dinner party hosted by Ross, in which a couple of charming female friends fawn over the MMG MC as he swills bubbly and takes a bite out of a porterhouse. Later, Ross is shown walking through an ominous meat locker and striking some slabs with a machete -- perhaps preparing some cuts for his next fancy gathering?
"So Sophisticated" is Ross' latest single from "God Forgives, I Don't," due out July 31. The song returns to the R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart this week at No. 100, while "Touch'N You," the Usher-assisted single that will also make the "God Forgives" track list, is at No. 23 on the chart.
Meek Mill is also readying a new album: after his "Dreamchasers 2" mixtape was released last month, his official MMG debut, "Dreams and Nightmares," hits stores on Aug. 28.
