Beyoncé loves First Lady Michelle Obama and she's not afraid to show it.
In a video posted today (July 16) on President Barack Obama's official YouTube page, Beyoncé reads, aloud, a letter she penned for Michelle Obama back in April. So far, the video has garnered over seven thousand views and has earned positive reactions.
"From one leading lady to another," Obama tweeted, attaching a link to the video.
Back in April, Bey' shared her love and respect for Michelle Obama in this same letter she published on her Tumblr page. She thanked Mrs. Obama for all she's done in the past four years and celebrated her as "ULTIMATE example of a strong African-American woman."
The singer continued to write that she's constantly inspired by the First Lady and is proud her daughter, Blue Ivy, has someone like her to look up to.
Upon hearing about the letter, Michelle Obama took to her Twitter page to express her thanks for Bey's kind words.
"Thank you for the beautiful letter and for being a role model who kids everywhere can look up to," she wrote to over one million followers.
This isn't the first time Bey' and the First Lady have crossed paths. The two worked in tandem on Obama's "Let's Move" campaign to combat childhood obesity.
