Before Harlem rapper A$AP Rocky's debut full-length drops in September, his A$AP Mob posse is allegedly releasing an album of its own. In anticipation of the still-untitled release, the Mob released a new single, "Bath Salt," featuring Brooklyn's Flatbush Zombies, on Thursday (July 26).
The rapid-fire banger features creeping production from P On The Boards and an intense verse from Rocky to cap things off. To commemorate the release, the A$AP leader wrote on Twitter, "WE VERY JIGGY OUT HERE, VERY RARE!!!! LOL."
"LongLiveA$AP," the RCA/Polo Grounds debut from A$AP Rocky, is due on September 11, but two weeks ago at Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago, the rapper told Billboard.com that the A$AP Mob album was being released "in two weeks." A$AP Ferg also revealed that the Mob is staying busy this summer by promoting both discs and shooting new videos to multiple A$AP Mob cuts.
The release of "Bath Salt" also arrives after this week's announcement that Rocky and the A$AP Mob will be joined by ScHoolboy Q and Danny Brown on an extensive fall tour. The Internet rap extravaganza kicks off Sept. 21 in Providence, R.I.
