'We love each other and we probably always will,' Rihanna says of Chris Brown.

On last night's (Aug. 19) episode of "Oprah's Next Chapter," Rihanna let her guards down with Oprah and spoke on fame, love and family.

"It's become a title of perfection and that is something that nobody can achieve," Rihanna told Oprah on being a role model. "I'm a work in progress."

Tears were far from few, as Rihanna continued to speak on the past, present and future with ex-boyfriend, singer, Chris Brown.

"No one could feel that more than me. Nobody felt what I felt. It happened to me in front of the world," she said of the 2009 violent alteration with Brown. "I lost my best friend. Everything I knew switched. Switched in a night. I couldn't control that."

As far as the current status of her relationship with Chris, Rihanna says that they've "built a trust again" and they "love each other and we probably always will." But the moment that pulled at people's heart strings is when Rihanna confessed that she puts on "a poker face" when she sees him because still loves him and believes he was not only her first love, but the love of her life.
