"212" rapper Azealia Banks' much-anticipated debut album won't land in 2012.
"Broke with Expensive Taste" will arrive on February 12, 2013, the musician announced on Twitter. It was previously scheduled for September.
"I have ALOT of REALLY excitin ish happening in btwn! it will ALL make sense as these things start to unravel," Banks added.
However, it's not the first delay for the rising rapper, whose "1991" EP was pushed back earlier this year before its June release.
What Banks' "excitin ish" is remains to be seen, but the musician also noted that she's in Hawaii -- the scene of Kanye West and G.O.O.D. Music's current wrap-up sessions for September-due album "Cruel Summer." Perhaps she'll follow in the footsteps of fellow Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School alum Nicki Minaj, whose own solo debut came alongside a show-stopping verse on West's "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy."
