The Tigers may have lost the World Series on Sunday night, but there's one MC who's still repping Detroit.
Eminem sneakily announced his next album with a Tigers-style baseball cap over the weekend, which appeared in his online store and includes inscriptions for each of his albums -- and includes a 2013 slot. Sales of the "world champion" hat will benefit the Marshall Mathers Foundation.
In August, Eminem told MTV News that he'd started working new music.
""We actually just finished the [Slaughterhouse super-group] album last week... Now I've got time to be able to start doing things for my own project," he said at the time.
Such an album would be the rapper's eighth, following 2010's "Recovery." That set bowed at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, moving a massive 741,000 copies and earning him his sixth chart-topping album in a row.
Speaking of sweeps, the Detroit Tigers' loss to the San Francisco Giants on Sunday night was their fourth straight, finishing the series winless. There's always next year, Em.
