Big Sean Announces Debut's 'Finally Famous' Title, March Release Date

Kanye West protege Big Sean has announced his official debut, "Finally Famous: The Album," will be released in March on G.O.O.D. Music/Def Jam. First single "My Last," featuring Chris Brown and produced by No ID, is set to premiere today (Feb. 7) at 5pm on Sean's facebook page.

The title of the album is inspired by Big Sean's slew of "Finally Famous" mixtapes, the latest of which dropped in October ("Finally Famous Vol. 3: BIG," hosted by Don Cannon).

"I remember in the eighth grade I told myself, man I'm going to be signed to Def Jam," Sean said via a statement. "I always put it out into the universe and I think it was written for me. I was meant to inspire people, I was meant to make music. There's been so many nights where instead of going out I've had to work and was depressed so I feel like I deserve this. This is what I was meant to do."

Big Sean appeared on four tracks off Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Friday campaign and a fifth one appeared on West's "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" album as a bonus track.
