Last night (August 18), Beyoncé performed a repertoire of Destiny Child classics, solo No. 1's and her album, 4,' in it's entirety for the third night of her four show concert series, '4 Intimate Nights with Beyoncé."
"Just left beyonce 4 concert! Amaazing as always. Also Met lady g aga for hte 1st time too! She's Crazy fun! Such a great night, thanks B! [Sic]" Jennifer Hudson tweeted. Maxwell twitpic'd a photo of Bey' from the balcony. "BEYONCE ROSELAND #NYC http://twitpic.com/687ubs," Maxwell tweeted.
As the concert series comes to a close, tonight (August 19) being her last show, Beyoncé grants fans a backstage pass to her four show concert series with the first installment of behind scenes footage.
Beyoncé's production manager (Bobby), lead guitarist (Bibi), lightening designer (Nick), Roseland Ballroom security (Doug), music director (Kim) comment on the concert series and her album, "4."
"She's listening to her inner voice right now and doing what she wants to do," Bibi says of Bey'. "I think she took risks, I think she's being more authentic and doing what she wants to do instead of doing what people expect, which is good."
"This project is the most mature project for Beyoncé," Kim, music director says. "To be able to be in an intimate setting like this, like the Roseland, which is a very historic place, is an amazing thing. Because it's something she's never done before."
"I think the challenge of it is to be able to present your whole album as it's own concert, as it's own piece. I think this is a great way to educate the people about what this album means to her. It's for her, it's for the fans, it's for everybody," Kim continues.
