Big K.R.I.T. Recruits Yelawolf, Wiz Khalifa, Chris Brown & More for New Mixtape: Listen

A day after the release of Big K.R.I.T.'s mixtape, "Last King 2: God's Machine" (August 19), 3 Little Digs drop footage of the recording behind one of the mixtape's cuts, "Happy Birthday Hip Hop," featuring Yelawolf. "Last King 2 (God's Machine)," presented by DJ Wally Sparks and DJ Breakem Off, is a collection of unreleased songs and past features.

Before jumping into the booth, both southern rappers traded compliments. "I am the biggest Big K.R.I.T. fan alive," Yelawolf says. "I've been waiting on a country cousin to pop up with the raw… great music, great lyrics."

Yelawolf advised rappers to come correct if conspiring to compete with his and K.R.I.T.'s collabo. "This is going to be a great record. I'm geeked," Yealwolf says. "Y'all motherf*ckers better go back to your labs and work. Go deep within yourself. Go deep within thyself. Reach into your inner most creative mind to try to f*ck with what's about to happen."

Yelawolf isn't the only name you'll recognize on K.R.I.T.'s mixtape. Wiz Khalifa, Chris Brown, Slim Thug, Dom Kennedy, Cyhi the Prynce, Bun B, Killer Mike and more are featured on the tape. Take a listen below.
