DMX Arrested for Speeding, Suspended License
Just a little over a month after his completion of a seven-month sentence, DMX is arrested again after being stopped for surpassing the speed limit.
According to TMZ, the rapper was driving 102 MPH in a 65 MPH zone. He was then arrested for speeding, reckless driving and a suspended license. He has been released on bond.
The arrest marks DMX's tenth run-in with the law in Maricopa County, AZ. His prior jail stint was for a parole violation last year. DMX was freed from prison on July 19 after spending a seven-month sentence, initially to last one year. "I'm going to go see my daughter while the sun is up then I'm going to be in the studio man," DMX told AllHipHop.com shortly after his release.
As soon as the rapper got out of jail he went back to work on his long-awaited new album, "Redemption of the Beast," and negotiating a reality show. "I've had a lot of late nights in the studio, getting it in, getting it back to where it's supposed to be," says DMX to Billboard.com's The Juice, earlier this month.
