Watching The Throne Live: A Juice-y Debate

Jay-Z on the Throne: Three Albums Could Drop in 2012

On Saturday (Nov. 5), Kanye West and Jay-Z kicked off their four-day (Nov. 5 - 8) NYC area run of "Watch the Throne" tour dates and was there in force.

Jason Lipshutz (Assistant Editor and emo hip-hop aficionado like myself) and I trekked to New Jersey's IZOD Center on Saturday (Nov. 5) to see The Throne rise twenty-five feet on dueling platforms while both rappers performed hits from their extensive catalogues and, of course, from their Billboard 200 No. 1 collaboration, "Watch the Throne."

While Jason and I both enjoyed the 2 1/2 hour set, which included bromance moments between Jay and 'Ye ("New Day") and 'Ye demanding more laser light action, it was probably a good thing that we sat in different areas of the sold-out stadium because let's just say I threw my diamond in the air a tad bit higher than he did.

Check out Jason and I go back and fourth on our likes and dislikes of The Throne's show.
