Common's 10 Least Controversial Lyrics, for Sean Hannity's Sake
"I look into my daughter's eyes, and realize that I'm gonna learn through her/The Messiah, might even return through her/If I'm gonna do it, I gotta change the world through her." -"Be"

Common is making a "Sweet" contribution to Haitian disaster relief.

The MC premiered the video for his new single, "Sweet," on Ustream on Monday evening, requiring a $1 donation to watch the footage.

The funds will go toward the J/P Haitian Relief Organization. The video, which features Common dropping verses and driving through the streets of Haiti, was shot on location.

While "Sweet" may support charity efforts, the hard-knocking track is focused on Common himself: "A lot of y'all nah nah / forgot nah who I am," he raps on the song. "I am to hip-hop what Obama is to politics."

It's a line that may catch the attention of Fox News, which dubbed the MC a "vile rapper" in May after he was invited to a White House poetry event -- just two years after the network credited him as being "the conscious rapper" in a 2009 interview.

"Sweet" will appear on Common's "The Dreamer/The Believer," his ninth studio album. The set is due Dec. 20, with producer No I.D. handling its 12 tracks. Common released his memoir, "One Day It'll All Make Sense," in September.
