The Danish twosome drop by Billboard Studios to talk about their debut album and perform two of its songs.

Copenhagen Denmark duo Quadron released their major label debut album “Avalanche” through Epic Records today (June 4). Lead singer Coco O. and producer Robin Hannibal recorded the new age soul album in Los Angeles, California at Westlake Studios, where their idol Michael Jackson crafted some of his classic records, including several from his “Bad” album.

The “King of Pop” is such an influence on the pair that they’d often decide on what turns an “Avalanche” record would make by asking one another “What would Michael do?” “It’s very hard to avoid his talent,” Coco told Billboard in the interview above after nailing the performances of the set’s bouncing lead single “Hey Love” and “Favorite Star.”

“It showcases my voice,” Coco says of “Hey Love.” “I have a lot of power on that one.” The two meeting each other years ago is thanks to a mutual friend that Coco mentions, “thought we’d be a great musical match.” Clearly, they were on to something.  Watch both performances and their interview and let us know what you think of “Avalanche.”
