The rapper drops the video for his latest single after winning Best Rap Album at the 2013 Grammys.
It's a celebratory night for Drake. The rapper drops the video for his latest single, "Started From the Bottom," soon after winning Best Rap Album at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards tonight (Feb. 10).
The Little X-directed video features Drake and his long-time friends celebrating their success in his hometown of Toronto and Dominican Republic.
"Started From the Bottom" is the rapper's first single off his untitled third album. Drake took fans by surprise when he released the song, unannounced, on Feb. 1.
"I feel sometimes that people don’t have enough information about my beginnings and therefore they make up a life story for me that isn’t consistent with actual events," he wrote in a blog post when releasing the track. "I did not buy my way into this spot and it was the furthest thing from easy to achieve. I am proud of every part of my past and I’m excited for this song to find a place in your life as well."
Drizzy's Grammy winning album, "Take Care," has sold over 2 million copies worldwide, bowing at No. 1 upon its Nov. 2011 release.
