The report, released today (Dec. 7) by TMZ, confirms that Biggie, born Christopher Wallace, was shot four times in the LA drive-by shooting. As reported before, Big was seated in the passenger seat of a Chevy Suburban when riding through Wilshire Blvd.
According to the report, three of the four shots that struck Big were not fatal. The first shot "struck Wallace in the left forearm and traveled down to his wrist." The second gun shot "struck Wallace in the back, missed all vital organs, and exited through his left shoulder." The third shot "struck Wallace on his outer left thigh and exited through his inner left thigh."
After the third shot exited the left thigh, "the projectile strikes the left side of the scrotum, causing a very shallow, 3/8 inch linear laceration," TMZ says via the report.
The fourth shot was fatal for the bullet entered through the right hip striking several vital organs before resting on his left shoulder area. The bullet went through his colon, liver, heart and upper lobe of his left lung.
The late rapper was rushed to Cedars-Sinae hospital where doctors peformed an emergency thoracotomy. Unfortunately it was too late. He was pronounced dead at 1:15 am at 24 years old.
