Kim Kardashian confirmed this morning (Dec. 31) that her and Kanye West are indeed expecting a baby. "It's true!! Kanye and I are expecting a baby," she wrote on her site. "We feel so blessed and lucky and wish that in addition to both of our families, his mom and my dad could be here to celebrate this special time with us."
West announced that his girlfriend, reality TV star Kim Kardashian, is pregnant late yesterday.
According to tweets from several audience members at the hip-hop superstar's performance at Revel in Atlantic City on Sunday night (Dec. 30), West stopped the show to shout out his "baby mama," and motioned to Kardashian. "Can you make some noise for my baby mama right quick?" Kanye said, smiling.
Although there has yet to be an explicit confirmation since the impromptu introduction, several celebrities -- including Kardashian's sister, Khloe Kardashian-Odom -- are already congratulating the couple on Twitter.
A baby would make new parents out of West, 35, and Kardashian, 32, who began dating last spring. Kardashian was briefly married to NBA star Kris Humphries, while West previously dated designer Alexis Phifer and model Amber Rose.
The Revel performance marked West's third and final night at the new casino/resort, after he began a three-night residency on Friday. The first performance featured a collection of outrageous outfits and masks, while on Saturday night, West aired his frustrations about his past Grammy snubs -- including his Best New Artist loss to Maroon 5 -- in an extended rant.
