The Best & Worst Dressed Artists of the Week: Adele & Anna Kendrick
Check out who is rocking killer threads and who needs to put their stylist on (permanent?) timeout this week.
Adele looked sensational as she struck a pose after being appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) by the Prince Charles at Buckingham Palace in London on December 19. The British singer rocked a regal dress straight from Stella McCartney’s Pre-Fall 2013 collection complete with a blue and green feather jacquard print, long sleeves, billowing skirt and fitted bodice. She eloquently styled the look with a netted fascinator by Philip Treacy, black pumps and a glittering brooch. All hail Queen Adele.
Worst: Anna Kendrick
Anna Kendrick lands on our worst dressed this week for the number she wore to Z100′s Jingle Ball 2013 held at Madison Square Garden on December 13 in New York City. The “When I’m Gone” singer took to the stage to introduce Ariana Grande in an awkwardly short Vivienne Westwood Red Label Fall 2013 metallic burgundy dress.
We’re all for showing some leg, but this was a poor attempt. The styling was also a bit off. We would have gone with a less chunky heel than the Brian Atwood platform pumps she opted for, and would toss that Westwood chocker.
