Show: Marc Jacobs
Song: Aphex Twin, “Icct Hedral” (Philip Glass Orchestration)

Aphex Twin’s decaying mellow track spoke the darkness of Marc Jacobs’ spring line filled with tasseled jackets, Victorian inspired embroidered dresses and black shorts.  These suffer girls seem to be rebelling against the beach.

Show: Calvin Klein Collection
Song:
Billie Holiday, “They Can’t Take That Away From Me”

“Deconstructed minimalism” was the flavor of the season at the Calvin Klein Collection spring show. Perfectly contrasting the rough lines of the collection, Billie Holiday’s creamy melodies strained out of the speakers as black leather jackets, mint-colored tweed dresses and strapless wrap tops hit the runway.

Show: Ralph Lauren
Song:
Song: Malik Alary & Jenia Lubich, “Morning Flow”

As smooth beats blared, a floral patent trenchcoat, mod collared dresses and graphic printed suits clad models in Ralph Lauren’s ‘60s inspired spring show.
