Inspired by 1920s in Havana and Buenos Aires, Sergio Davila created a colorful collection of art deco prints, bohemian floral peplum dresses and breezy rompers set against the backdrop of glamorous tunes.

Daring gladiator heels marched down the catwalk as soulful R&B singer Janelle Monae performed tracks including this one live.

Deadmau5' sweetly textured and edgy beats perfectly accentuated Nicole Miller's rebellious spring line inspired by the gardens of Versailles featuring fresh floral prints, leather jackets and slashed pants.
Show: Jasan Wu
Song: The Allman Brothers Band, "Jessica"
Alicia Keys sat front row as The Allman Brothers Band’s murky yet charming tune spoke to the collections muted color palette of white, nude, and black. The line featured oversized sweaters, jumpsuits and gold metallic dresses that recall the glam of the '30s.
Show: Rag & Bone
Song: Dani Sbert, "Western"
1990s tinged varsity sweaters, slouched leather pants and minimal silk dresses took to the catwalk as Dani Sbert’s ambient and electronic beat blared into the studio.
Show: Duckie Brown
Song: Leikeli47, "Miss America" As "Miss America" played in the background with lyrics saying "Dress like a boy, talk like a girl," a gender-bending collection of romantic threads in French lace, skirts and altered halter-tops took to the catwalk.
DAY 2: THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 5
Song: Horacio, "It’s All Because I’m Horacio"
Horacio’s playful synth-pop beat perfectly pointed to Desigual’s vibrant spring collection of bomber jackets, floral printed dresses and bold jacquard shorts.
Show: Tadashi Shoji
Song: David Myerz, "Circles"
Delicate sweet pastel dresses with a modern touch pranced down the catwalk at Tadashi Shoji’s "Sweet Liberation" titled show as upbeat riffs with a creamy innocence reverberated through the tents.
Song: Benny Benassi, "Everybody Everybody"
Benny Benassi’s electro-infused tunes filled with Italian charisma was a great selection for the design competition between top students from design schools across the country creating chic threads from untreated American Supima cotton.
Show: Nicholas K
Song: Carter Tutti Void, "V2"
Having grown up by the Apache reservation in Arizona, it is easy to spot where the sister-and-brother design duo looked for inspiration. Bleached layered dress and washed-out sweaters were given a Native American edge matching the fresh and sparkling ambient soundtrack.
Song: Nicolas Jaar, "With Just One Glance"
As smokey and sexy tunes played as BCBG put out all-white numbers, bold prints, an arty tuxedo-inspired jumpsuit and, this summers favorite trend, the crop top.
Show: Richard Chai
Show: Lorde, "Million Dollar Bills"
All three Jonas Brothers sat front row at Richard Chai’s dreamy geometric collection of oversized trousers, motorcycle jackets and lightweight seersuckers. The straightforward and fresh line was accentuated by pop beats with a quirky, arty edge.
