Madonna Resurrects Gaultier-Designed Cone Bras for Her MDNA Tour
Madonna's MDNA tour costumes have been revealed! The material girl reunited with designer extraordinaire Jean Paul Gaultier for a new take on an iconic look, with the cone bustier revived for her "Vogue" performance. The androgynous look features a button-up white shirt, tie, black wide leg trousers, and over-the-elbow black patent leather gloves.
Gaultier told WWD , "What I have done this time is a nod to the conical bra corset of the Blond Ambition tour but reinterpreted in 3-D, in patent leather on the outside with metallic leather on the inside. It's all about masculine and feminine, Madonna and Jean Paul Gaultier classics reinterpreted for 2012."
Jeremy Scott also provided Madge with some design expertise, creating costumes for her backup dancers in colorful Jeremy Scott x Adidas floral print creations.
Other hot designs include costumes by Alexander Wang, shoes by Prada and Miu Miu, and a metal mesh, Swarovski crystal warrior outfit by Arianne Phillips.
Rihanna Gets Naked on the Cover of Esquire UK
Rihanna looks scandalous on the cover (and inside) the latest issue of Esquire UK. The pop diva bares all in a racy shoot for the men's magazine, which comes as little surprise since RiRi is nude more often than she's clothed these days.
Inside the mag, she actually puts on some clothing, rocking cool camo shorts, a jacket and a crocheted bikini, with strategically-placed pieces of meterial. The camo fits with Rihanna's latest "Battleship" flick, while the flesh-flashing shoot speaks perfectly to the title of her new fragrance, Nude.
Beth Ditto Creates a MAC Cosmetics Collection
Gossip frontwoman Beth Ditto brings her flamboyant and colorful flair to M.A.C. Cosmetics for a capsule makeup line this month. The singer created color bursts with names like "Booyah!" and "Near Beth Experience." The Ditto makeup collection is set to hit stores worldwide on June 7.
Azealia Banks and A$AP Rocky Cover Jalouse Magazine
A$AP Rocky and the darling Azealia Banks both strike a pose on French mag Jalouse's music issue. For the first cover, Rocky looks dapper in a VSVP snapback and Givenchy rottweiler button-down shirt. For Banks' cover, the 21-year-old Harlem-native rocks her signature effortless style and free-flowing Mermaid locks. The two covers represent what Jalouse calls "two sizes of fashion and music."
