Taylor Swift dropped her glamourous style to dance around in her pajamas with thick-framed glasses and a ponytail in the video for "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together," but the 22-year-old singer is back to looking like a star on the December covers of Cosmopolitan and ELLE Canada.
Swift let her hair down and her wild side out on the cover of next month's Cosmo, revealing her sexy side in a figure-hugging plum skirt and a purple tank top with a plunging neckline.
Inside the magazine, Taylor opened up about dating. "I think a lot of times when you meet someone you feel like you need to appear like you're not interested in them so that they'll be more interested in you," she said. "But what happens when you start showing him that you actually like him? What's he gonna do then? Play the tape forward; how do you keep a guy like that? I don't want to sign up for that."
On the cover of ELLE Canada, Swift rocked a different, but equally gorgeous look. Looking ethereal, she appears as an elegant princess in a glittering white Zuhair Murad sequined fishtail dress and natural makeup.
In her interview, the pop-country singer mused on her song writing techniques, saying, "I have a chalkboard in my house in L.A., and every week, I've been writing a new lyric on it from the record just to figure out which ones pop out to me, which seems most important."
She added, "There's a song that's the first track on the record, and it says, 'Love is a ruthless game unless you play it good and right.' That's been my whole philosophy on love this whole time anyway."
Taylor looks fantastic on both covers, but it's a nice change of pace to see her looking sexy for Cosmo. Which side of Swift do you prefer: sweet or spicy?
