Hervé Léger by Max Azria Spring 2012

VIBE: The Hervé Léger ladies became fierce warrior princesses for Spring 2012. Gold bandage material, hugged every part of the models body like wet fabric. Glowing with a fierce power the rose gold, silver, and yellow gold looks of the collection couldn't help but recall the styles from The Game of Thrones. Complete with buckled gladiator boots that required two assistants per model to get on before the show. Ashlee Simpson sat front row and watched the bondage line strut down the catwalk. The party continued later in the evening at 1oak where Joan As Policewoman and DJ Rashida performed to a deverse crowd of individuals.

Rodarte Spring 2012

VIBE: The Mulleavy sisters, Kate and Laura blended the enchanting tale of Sleeping Beauty with the moody reality created by Vincent van Gogh for Spring 2012. Taylor Swift, clad in a flesh tone textured Rodarte dress, watched from the front row next to Vogue empress Anna Wintour. Rich golds, enchanting blues, and a Starry Night-patterned dress strutted down the catwalk. Van Gogh's sunflowers blossomed on the collection in enigmatic and dominant purples and blues, greens and yellows. Aside from the red carpet numbers, the line also consisted of wearable items such as color-blocked oversized cable-knit sweaters and gorgeous patterned pants. Marchesa Spring 2012

VIBE: The pomp and romance created by Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig has returned to the runway for Spring 2012. Inspired by Russian artist Ilya Repin's painting, Sadko in the Underwater Kingdom, the ladies submerged viewers in an ethereal underwater fantasy. The collection consists for the most part of statement pieces, such as large, sculpted gowns with deep sea-inspired accents taking form in scale-like embroidery and cascades of silk fringe. Delicate sequins twinkled beneath layers of draped organza capturing the shimmering appeal of a sun-kissed ocean. Custom made shoes by Christian Louboutin stunningly punctuated the collection.
