Get Hooked and discover how Nicki Minaj toned down her style for Cosmo and Lady Gaga turned mint fairy in London.

Nicki Minaj In S&M Leather On The Cover of Cosmo

After her whirlwind of bizarre outfits during Fashion Week, Nicki Minaj has landed on the cover of Cosmopolitan magazine looking a bit more subtle then normal, or at least what is considered normal for Nicki. The "Super Bass" singer kept things simple in classic black in a tight, S&M-like leather corset-style dress and a black bob wig. Think '20s flapper meets modern-day dominatrix. Her makeup is even a bit more natural then usual for the outrageous rapper.

Nicki's feature story is titled "How she beat the odds and learned to rule her world." How fitting for a lady who rose from South Jamaica, Queens, to become one of the most recognizable faces in the music industry. Although I am loving this subtle, sexy all-black look, I can't help but miss her signature Japanese streetwear-inspired fantastically abnormal style.

Gaga The Mint Green Fairy

Mother Monster was recently spotted over in London-town looking like a mint green fairy. A sweet cocktail of characters, her look seemed to be Mickey Mouse meets Marilyn Monroe meets Thumbelina.

The white transparent dress, speckled with a delicate floral motif, is hot off the runway from Simone Rocha's Spring 2012 collection. Braless and exuding a green glow (her cheeks and hair are actually powdered green) the singer's fairy tale princess look was complete with white gloves, mint green stilettos and a fluffy pick fur stole. This fairy knows how to do luxury!

Gaga looks so minty fierce and so fresh, one can't help but hear the lady from the Orbit commercial looking at her photo: "For a good clean feeling, no matter what."
