The Best and Worst Dressed Artists of the Week: Miley Cyrus and Willow Smith
At the close of the workweek, we have sorted through countless looks from Saturday (May 4) to today (May 10) and selected the best and worst dressed of the bunch. Check out who is rocking killer threads and who needs to put their stylist on (permanent?) timeout this week.
Best: Miley Cyrus
Miley Cyrus is establishing quite the strong name for herself among sartorial circles. The "Party In The USA" songstress rocked a jaw-dropping look as she attended the the Met Gala on May 6 in New York City. The singer turned heads in a long-sleeved black mesh gown and nude underpinning from Marc Jacobs’ Fall 2013 collection. “We gonnnna kill it @MarcJacobsIntl #PuNk #whosmorepunkthan #MJ #MC #MetGala,” Miley tweeted before the Gala. Her chic ode to the punk era continued with rocker chic spiked hair, pointed gold rings and matching metallic nail art.
Worst: Willow Smith
Willow Smith sported a funky-stripped look at the Coalition to Abolish Slavery and Trafficking 15th annual From Slavery to Freedom Event at Sofitel Hotel on May 9 in Los Angeles. Beatlejuice inspired, Smith stepped out in a striped jumpsuit, a cropped leather jacket, spiked Versace pumps and a bowler hat placed over a blunt cut blonde hairdo with a greenish hue. While we do like the bold stripes we wish the ‘Whip My Hair’ singer kept it a bit more natural with her accessories. Maybe tossing the jacket, wig and hat sporting just a bright colored lip.
