Vince Gill will receive an all-star tribute this November at the 62nd annual BMI Country Awards.
The Nov. 4 event at BMI's Nashville headquarters will include a presentation of the BMI Icon award, which has previously honored Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn and Kris Kristofferson, as Rolling Stone reports. To his credit, Gill has a 35-year career that includes 20 Grammy wards and 26 million album sales.
Over the past few years, Gill has produced projects by acts such as LeAnn Rimes, Sonya Isaacs and Ashley Monroe. And in January he told The 615 he was working on a studio album with his daughter, Jenny.
