Billboard is excited to premiere the video for "Scars," a cut from singer-songwriter Logan Brill's debut album "Walking Wires," coming Oct. 15 via Carnival Music.
Brill says she and co-writer Jordan Dean approached the song with a break-up in mind. "Jordan came in with the line 'love is a loaded gun’ and it really struck a chord with me at the time. I had just gotten out of a long-term relationship, so I was in the right place to write a song about the hindsight that comes at the end of a relationship."
The video for the track is proof that the music biz is not always as glamorous as you might think. "We taped the video in a lumber warehouse in Springfield, MO where, at the time, we were getting hit with a bunch of snow. We started rolling around midnight and didn't finish until almost 6:00 am. The generator stopped working about an hour into taping so it was a cold night!" Watch:
