Country Music Hall of Fame member Vince Gill will be the featured artist in this year's Bluegrass Roots & Branches Festival in western Kentucky.

Other acts scheduled to perform during the three days in Owensboro include Punch Brothers, Carolina Chocolate Drops and Greensky Bluegrass.

International Bluegrass Music Museum Director Gabrielle Gray said Gill's roots are in bluegrass.

Gray told the Messenger-Inquirer that Gill's band will be one of four to perform on June 28, which is the opening night.

Gray said one more headliner will be announced.
