Country Hitmakers Also Announce a New Band Member
Zac Brown Band's forthcoming album, "Uncaged," is due out July 10, the band announced today. The group's fifth studio album will also introduce the newest member of the band -- percussionist Daniel de los Reyes.
Zac Brown told the Associated Press that the 11-track "Uncaged" is "your basic country-Southern rock-bluegrass-reggae-jam record" and it's "really about making people dance."
The band's last effort, 2010's "You Get What You Give," debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and has sold 1.5 million copies to date, according to Nielsen Soundscan.
"Uncaged" will be released on Atlantic Records/Southern Ground Artists. A few weeks before the album drops, the Zac Brown Band is set to headline the BamaJam Festival in Alabama alongside Tim McGraw and Kid Rock.
The Zac Brown Band was recently announced as a finalist for Top Country Artist in the 2012 Billboard Music Awards, which will take place at Las Vegas' MGM Grand and be broadcast live Sunday May 20, 8/7c on ABC.
