American Country Awards Bringing Trace Adkins, Kristin Chenoweth Back as Hosts

Trace Adkins will tower over Kristin Chenoweth once again as the unlikely duo have signed on to co-host the American Country Awards for the second straight year.

The "Ladies Love Country Boys" singer says he's excited to be reuniting with the "Wicked" Broadway star.

"I'm looking forward to cutting loose again with Kristin, who's quite the firecracker comedienne, while we also take viewers through an evening of great music and awards," Adkins said in a statement.

For her part, the 4' 11" Chenoweth is looking forward to seeing Adkins -- 6' 6" -- and his "big personality and even bigger boots" again.

"We had a blast last year and I plan to pull out all the stops to make sure everyone has a good time," she said.

The fan-voted awards show will air live from Las Vegas on Monday, Dec. 17 at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.

Jason Aldean dominated at last year's show, held Dec. 5, with six awards. Carrie Underwood and husband-wife duo Thompson Square also figured prominently in the telecast with three awards each.
