Hunter Hayes, Dustin Lynch Shine on Country Charts
By Wade Jessen

With Greatest Gainer honors, newcomer Hunter Hayes rockets to his first top five achievement on Country Songs, as "Wanted" gains 3.7 million listener impressions and flies 8-4 in its 27th chart week. His increase edges Jason Aldean's gain of 3.5 million with "Take a Little Ride," which shoots 12-8 to become the artist's 15th top 10.
Meanwhile, Hayes' track achieves a platinum certification by the RIAA, with Nielsen SoundScan reporting more than one million downloads sold. On this week's Country Digital Songs, "Wanted" bullets at No. 4 (66,000 sold).
With 23,000 sold, newcomer Dustin Lynch opens at No. 1 on Country Albums with his self-titled debut set, which is also the first album by a rookie country singer to arrive at No. 1 on the Independent Albums tally -- it enters the Billboard 200 at No. 13. Concurrently, the artist achieves his first top 10's on Hot Country Songs (11-10) and Country Digital Songs (14-10) with lead single "Cowboys and Angels," which sells 35,000 downloads.
After her record-breaking start last week with "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together," Taylor Swift encores at No. 1 on the Hot 100.
Following her handsome No. 13 start last week on Country Songs, "Never" dips 6 million listener impressions and tumbles to No. 19. "Never" is again the leading title on Country Digital Songs.
