As Rod Stewart once put so eloquently, "Tonight's The Night." It's Music City's time in the spotlight, as the 46th Annual Country Music Association Awards air tonight on ABC. As we wrap up our ongoing preview of the show, we take a look at the top category of the night, Entertainer of the Year.
Could it be anybody's ballgame? The nominees are:
Who Should Win: It looks very daunting to pick one -- and it is. Paisley is the 2010 winner, and makes it look so easy and effortless on stage. Nobody works any harder on his stage show than four-time winner Kenny Chesney, while Taylor Swift, with a win tonight, would become the first female vocalist with three trips to the winner's podium (don't be surprised if that happens in 2013).
Then, you have Jason Aldean and his huge stadium numbers this year, but while he might give up the Male Vocalist trophy to Aldean… I think Ada, Oklahoma's favorite son, Blake Shelton will shine in the spotlight tonight -- capping the evening with his first win of the top prize.
