Friday Flashback: Patsy Cline's 'Crazy' at 50

If you believe Nashville legend, Patsy Cline wasn't too overly thrilled upon hearing the demo recording of a song that would become one of her biggest chart hits.

That could have had more to do with the unusual phrasing of the writer -- a new Nashville talent from Texas named Willie Nelson -- but Decca Records producer Owen Bradley eventually won Cline over on the tune, and the song became her second tune to top the charts.

"Crazy" entered the charts almost exactly five decades ago. To this day, it remains one of the format's most influential singles to ever have come out of Music City.
