Arcade Fire’s last album was 2013’s Reflektor; is the Montreal group about to start rolling out a new project?

Bandleading couple Win Butler and Régine Chassagne were scheduled to DJ a exhibition-opening party at the Louvre back on May 24. Aside from spinning for the Paris crowd, they also performed an unidentified song that has the internet wondering, “Could this be new Arcade Fire?”

Below, watch Butler and Chassagne perform what we’re calling “I Gave You Power,” along with a team of percussionists. “I gave you power over me/ But now I gotta be free,” Butler sings in one of the song’s several refrains.

The set took place at the museum’s Tuleries Garden to celebrate a new exhibition from French street artist JR. While DJing, they also spun David Bowie’s “Oh! You Pretty Things" and Sinéad O'Connor’s "Nothing Compares 2 U.”
