After a night of heated performances and risky choices on "The Voice," two singers were sent home on Tuesday night, leaving 10 singers to vie for the winning title.

Christina Aguilera is in talks to return to "The Voice," a source close to the singer tells The Hollywood Reporter.

Randy Jackson announced Thursday he would leave the Fox show after this season. He's checking out as “Idol” is at its nadir in terms of ratings and influence. Jackson said he would be concentrating on his management company/record label Dream Merchant 21 and new yet-to-be named businesses. No doubt he has had loads of success as a producer and bass player, but the management side has not been a strong one for him.

Angie Miller first became a frontrunner on "American Idol" when she took a turn behind the piano and performed an original song, "You Set Me Free," during the show's Hollywood rounds. The judges were full of praise, and the 19-year-old Massachusetts native, who went from 'Angela' to 'Angie' during the course of the competition, was sent through to the voting rounds of the show.

After the four teams on "The Voice" were whittled down to three singers each, the contestants and the coaches journeyed from Burbank to West Hollywood to entertain an invited crowd at the House of Blues.
