It's been 20 years since actual boy band Hanson zoomed into our hearts with their 1996 anthem "MMMBop." Well, on Thursday night the sibling trio proved that they're not done surprising us by mixing up the arrangement of their beloved sugar pop buzz bomb on ABC's new summer music series, Greatest Hits.

Sitting on stools with just acoustic guitars, a tambourine and a shaker, the trio performed a stripped-down acoustic take on the hit that drew whoops of praise from the studio audience.

Meghan Trainor's bucket list got a lot shorter on the episode as well. After teasing her collabo with the Backstreet Boys on Hits, Trainor finally hit prime time with her boy band heroes on Thursday night's show and the results were, well... see for yourself.

Backstreet Boys & Meghan Trainor to Collaborate on Music Beyond 'Greatest Hits' Duet: Exclusive

During the action-packed episode of the show co-hosted by Arsenio Hall and Kelsea Ballerini, Meghan went all in, matching the Boys' white coat, black pants outfits as she pulled off perfect choreography and meshed with the rest of the crew, trading lines with Howie, Nick and A.J. and getting a little steamy with Kevin.
