Ingrid Michaelson's music video for latest single "Time Machine" is a colorful pastiche co-starring comedians like Rainn Wilson and Dave Koechner, and has collected 900,000 YouTube views since its February release. Nearly two months later, Michaelson is offering a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the creation of the video -- check out the "Time Machine" clip, premiering exclusively on Billboard.com:

Directed by Jeff Wadlow, the wacky clip also features Donald Faison, and Michaelson says that she learned a valuable lesson while she hung out with the Scrubs veteran.

"I tried to chug champagne in the hot tub scene with Donald," says the pop singer-songwriter. "Never try to chug champagne. It is impossible. I kept getting wrapped up in the moment and tried to down it but it would always bubble up and explode out of my mouth. They finally had to replace the champagne with water because I just never learned."

Michaelson released Lights Out, her sixth studio album featuring "Time Machine" and the long-running Hot 100 hit "Girls Chase Boys," last April. This year, the singer-songwriter will kick off her biggest headlining tour yet, when the A Summer Night Out run kicks off on June 3 in Vienna, Va.
