Miley Cyrus Parts Ways With Longtime Publicist

PMK•BNC's Meghan Prophet had represented the singer since her Disney days.

Miley Cyrus and longtime publicist Meghan Prophet of PMK•BNC have parted ways, Billboard has confirmed. Cyrus is now being represented by public relations firm ID PR.

Cyrus had worked with Prophet since early in her career, starting at Disney in 2006, when the budding teen star had the lead role in Hannah Montana, and through January of this year.

No stranger to headlines, Cyrus' bigger press looks included posing wrapped only in a bed sheet for Vanity Fair at age 15 and bringing twerking to a mainstream audience with her controversial MTV VMA performance with Robin Thicke in 2013. Her dating exploits have provided countless clicks for gossip sites, but Cyrus' notoriety has also helped shine a light on important issues, like youth homelessness.

Now 22, Cyrus joins an ID roster that includes such music clients as Alicia KeysJames Taylor, Bette MidlerSam Hunt and Frank Ocean.
