Remember That Time Gary Coleman Was in *NSYNC's Christmas Video?

It's a time to celebrate!

Christmas is just two weeks away, so it's high time one of the ultimate cheesy Christmas albums, *NSYNC's Home for Christmas, begins to play in heavy rotation. (Great news: The album is on Spotify, so go ahead and start listening right...now.) Released in November 1998, the album comes at the beginning of *NSYNC mania.

For this week's Throwback Thursday, we're looking back at the video for the band's original Christmas song "Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays." Please tell me you remember the plot: Santa is sick, but he hasn't delivered the presents yet. So Gary Coleman shows up (in a pleather-looking green suit, natch)and suggests that *NSYNC -- huge fans of Santa, coincidentally, as evidenced by the autographed pic they sent him -- could step up to the sleigh and deliver the presents.

Justin, JC, Joey, Lance and Chris are totally in. Cue JC's Santa hat, Justin's orange parka and inspirational messages in several different languages. Most importantly, please never forget the moment there wasn't enough room on the sleigh for Chris (and his current hairstyle), so he had to hold on for his life on the back.

Clearly there's love in the room from the floor to the ceiling. (Re)watch below.

Is this *NSYNC's cheesiest video? Please discuss in the comments.
