Sleeper Agent Covers Bleachers' 'I Wanna Get Better': Video Premiere

Kentucky indie rockers Sleeper Agent released its anthemic new album About Last Night in March, and now the group has decided to tackle another sing-along from its RCA Records labelmate, Bleachers. Watch Sleeper Agent cover Bleachers' alternative hit "I Wanna Get Better," premiering exclusively at

Sleeper Agent first met Jack Antonoff, the guitarist of fun. and the mastermind of Bleachers, on tour with fun. back in 2012. Friendships were built, and when Antonoff unveiled "I Wanna Get Better" as the first taste of his Bleachers project earlier this year, the collective decided to hop on it.

"It became an instant earworm, and we knew we had to put the Sleeper Agent spin on it," says the group's Tony Smith. "We gathered our gear and trekked up to Hospital Hill in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The location has been a constant in our lives as a childhood playground, sledding spot, adolescent make-out haven and it's the first place my friends and I went upon graduating college. We knew it was the perfect backdrop to accompany the song's reflective and hopeful nature."

Since its 2011 debut Celabrasion, Sleeper Agent has headlined across the country opened for Weezer and Circa Survive, along with supporting fun. in 2012. The group will perform at Chill On The Hill in Detroit this weekend.
