What's Your Favorite Film Soundtrack? 'Guardians,' 'Purple Rain,' 'Almost Famous' & More (Poll)

The tracklist for the official soundtrack of Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy" just dropped and it's awesomely different than your typical superhero movie soundtrack. There are no fine-tuned collaborations from Top 40 artists and, as a matter of fact, there's not any new music of any kind to be found. Instead, the playlist cherrypicks from a variety of retro styles -- '70s soft rock, soul, funk, Motown, 90s alt-rock. It's got more in common with the "Napoleon Dynamite" soundtrack than anything remotely resembling superheroes. (Check out the soundtrack in all its glory at the bottom of this article.)
