Since Sia does not perform live (or, at least, perform while facing an audience or camera), the pop singer-songwriter has needed some assistance while performing her Hot 100 hit "Chandelier" on television. After music video star Maddie Ziegler helped her out on "Ellen," Sia called up "Girls" star Lena Dunham to offer some lip-synching on "Late Night with Seth Meyers." Another day, another blonde wig filled.
Dunham's choreography is not as breathtaking as Ziegler's, but the comedian spastically moves her arms, twirls, dances with toilet paper and punches through cardboard walls, all of which you don't normally see on late-night television. Sia is presumably in that top bunk; whoever it is, they get Dunham to cuddle up with them at the finale of the spectacularly weird performance.
"Chandelier" is the lead single from Sia's "1000 Forms of Fear" album, due out July 8. The pop chanteuse, best known for co-writing songs like Rihanna's "Diamonds" and for performing on songs like David Guetta's "Titanium," has guided the single to a No. 48 peak on the Hot 100 chart.
